Join our team: we are hiring a counter butcher in Gamawa, Bauchi State. The job is at a wholesale meat market. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Your main tasks: • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Season and marinate meat on request Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
