Great opportunity: metal caster (Bauchi State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Jama'Are, Bauchi State. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. On a typical shift you will carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling 2+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
