Vacancy available: we are hiring a dozer operator in Baker County, Oregon. The job is at a civil contractor's yard. What we are looking for: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections On the job you will handle: • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
