Urgent requirement: we are hiring a digger driver in Carroll County, Maryland. The job is in an open-cast quarry. What we are looking for: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances You will load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient.
