Rough terrain crane operator — Anderson County

Join our team: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Anderson County, Texas. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. What we are looking for: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Rotating shifts.
