Requirements: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Valid digital tachograph card The role involves: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts 3+ years on the tools preferred.
