Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Wolverhampton, England. The job is in an open-cast quarry. On a typical shift you will inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger. You should have: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Full-time with occasional weekends.
