Vertical milling machine operator — Kontagora

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Kontagora, Niger State. Your main tasks: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
