Hoist operator wanted in Surrey

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hoist operator in Surrey, England. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) Ideal candidate: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • A good head for heights for tower crane work We offer £12 per hour plus benefits.
