Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. Day to day you will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage. What we are looking for: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
