Metal caster wanted in Bida

Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Bida, Niger State. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
