Urgent requirement: fettler (Assam)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Dhemaji, Assam. The job is at a busy iron foundry. The role involves cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings We offer ₹25,000 per month plus benefits.
