Requirements: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting Day-to-day duties: • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
