Join our team: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The job is at a plant nursery. Day to day you will check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
