Shuttering carpenter • Macon County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Macon County, Illinois. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. The role involves glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours.
