Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Garko, Kano State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. You will keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • A good head for heights for tower crane work At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
