Meat trimmer — Martin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Martin County, Texas. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter The role involves: • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain Full-time, day shift.
