Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Volusia County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Volusia County, Florida. The job is at an automotive components factory. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work On the job you will handle: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
