Power press operator • Kumbotso, Kano State

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power press operator in Kumbotso, Kano State. The job is at a busy press shop. Day to day you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
