Garden maintenance worker • York County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in York County, Virginia. You will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. You should have: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
