Horticulturist — Whitman County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horticulturist in Whitman County, Washington. You will be based on a golf course. You should have: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish You will repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease.
