We are recruiting: argon welding operator (Wales)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Anglesey, Wales. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Your main tasks: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around £14 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
