Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Dillingham Census Area, Alaska. Day to day you will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
