Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Marion County, Oregon. The job is at a busy machine shop. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Day to day you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience.
