Join our team: we are hiring a groundsman in Charles County, Maryland. You will work at a plant nursery. Day to day you will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn. What we are looking for: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
