Day-to-day duties: • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes 2+ years on the tools preferred.
