Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Omala, Kogi State. On a typical shift you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Rotating shifts.
