Urgent requirement: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma. The job is in a public park. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Valid driving licence for travel between sites On a typical shift you will weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
