Sheet metal press operator • Cherokee County, Oklahoma

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Cherokee County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. On the job you will handle: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
