Great opportunity: we are hiring a prep cook in Knox County, Illinois. The job is in a catering banquet kitchen. Day to day you will label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen 4+ years on the tools preferred.
