Landscape gardener • St. Clair County, Missouri

Great opportunity: we are hiring a landscape gardener in St. Clair County, Missouri. You will be based at a private estate garden. Day-to-day duties: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules 4+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
