Great opportunity: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Greene County, Georgia. The role involves weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; season and marinate meat on request; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights. You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
