Vacancy available: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Sangamon County, Illinois. You will be based on a production line. You will load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; set up and start the machine as per the job card; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
