Long-haul driver • Obi, Benue State

Now hiring: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Obi, Benue State. You will work in a refrigerated transport fleet. Requirements: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Your main tasks: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. ₦450 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
