Great opportunity: we are hiring a pastry baker in Warren County, Virginia. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate The role involves: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Score the top of loaves before baking 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
