Great opportunity: die-casting operator (Utah)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Cache County, Utah. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
