Join our team: we are hiring a retail butcher in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. The job is in a hotel or restaurant butchery. On the job you will handle: • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Season and marinate meat on request Ideal candidate: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
