Great opportunity: shakeout operator (Yobe State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Fika, Yobe State. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Your main tasks: • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around ₦180,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
