Render and set plasterer wanted in Grayson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Grayson County, Virginia. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. On a typical shift you will skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; check walls for plumb and level as you go; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming. Ideal candidate: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
