Cnc lathe operator wanted in Madison County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Madison County, Alabama. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; write and edit G-code programs at the control; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
