Tracked excavator operator — Terrell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Terrell County, Texas. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. Requirements: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Day to day you will work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
