Day to day you will install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
