Canteen cook wanted in LaPorte County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a canteen cook in LaPorte County, Indiana. You will work in a hospital or office canteen. The role involves: • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha Requirements: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Rotating shifts.
