Ideal candidate: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
