We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator in North Tyneside, England. The job is on a busy civils and groundworks site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) The role involves: • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse 2+ years on the tools preferred. £2,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
