Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Onslow County, North Carolina. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. On a typical shift you will cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms. Requirements: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
