Lathe operator wanted in Pierce County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe operator in Pierce County, Washington. Day-to-day duties: • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers You should have: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
