Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Washington County, Illinois. You will work in a CNC machining unit. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery On a typical shift you will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
