Great opportunity: finishing presser (Oyo State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a finishing presser in Atiba, Oyo State. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine On a typical shift you will keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; give each garment a final press before packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. 4+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
