Powder coating technician — Pend Oreille County

Join our team: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Pend Oreille County, Washington. Requirements: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Your main tasks: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations Six days a week, one day off. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
